Kitchen Progress

I forgot to show you the before and after of widening the opening of the Kitchen to have a better flow to the Dining room! The past few says have been busy! I installed Insulation. All by myself I might add! My Hubby Dave installed a narrow strip by the window in which I promptly told him he wouldn’t be taking any credit for insulation on our blog Hehe ; ) Dave did a fabulous job on the new windows though! ( And everything else in the Kitchen that has been done so far) Did I mention we got a new Puppy through all of this!? Josey looks so sweet when she sleeps doesn’t she? When awake she is the Demon’s seed, But we still love her! She was an early Birthday gift to me by my wonderful Mother in Law : ) The Drywall for the ceiling went up yesterday and is continuing today. I’m so excited! I should be able to put a coat of paint on by Thursday! I’m still fighting with the Hubby to keep the original floor (It has a ton of water stains from the original leaking sink and isn’t able to be sanded out) I may change my mind if we can find the same plank width.
